Capital is an experimental typeface inspired by NYC’s architecture, especially cast–iron buildings built in the mid­–late 1800s. Capital is a display serif, intended for large print media but also works beautifully in small typesetting. Typographically, its rigid serifs are charming at large sizes.

The type specimen includes an interactive page where audiences can have hands-on, tactile interaction with the typeface. This human interaction with the typeface brings in the spirit of the city and its people, adding a story to the typeface.
